What is Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback is a gentle, non-invasive brain-training method that helps regulate and balance brainwave activity. Using real-time feedback, the brain learns to shift patterns that may be linked to stress, poor focus, low mood, or sleep issues. Over time, this training supports a calmer, clearer, and more resilient mind.
Why We Start With HTMA
I require all neurofeedback clients to first complete a Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA).
- Mineral imbalances and heavy metals significantly affect brainwave activity.
- Without first identifying and addressing these patterns, neurofeedback results may be less effective or short-lived.
- By combining HTMA with neurofeedback, we create a stronger foundation for lasting improvements in brain function and overall wellness.
How Neurofeedback Works
- Sensors are placed on the scalp to measure brainwave activity (no electrical current goes into the brain).
- The computer provides real-time feedback through visual or audio cues — for example, a movie or music may play more smoothly when the brain is in a balanced state.
- Over time, the brain learns to spend more time in these healthier patterns, much like learning a new skill through practice.
Benefits of Neurofeedback
- Improves focus, memory, and mental clarity
- Supports deeper, more restorative sleep
- Helps reduce anxiety and stress
- Promotes emotional balance and resilience
- May aid recovery from brain-based conditions by supporting self-regulation
What to Expect in a Session
- Session Length: 45–60 minutes
- Comfortable & Relaxed: You’ll sit in a chair while watching a screen or listening to audio.
- Painless & Non-Invasive: The sensors only read brainwave activity; nothing is sent into the brain.
- Progress Over Time: Neurofeedback is a training process — multiple sessions are typically recommended for best results.
Timeline & Process
- Complete HTMA – Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is done first to assess mineral patterns and heavy metal load.
- Book Your Neurofeedback Session – Once HTMA is reviewed, we’ll schedule your first training session.
- Brainwave Training – Relax while your brain practices healthier activity patterns with real-time feedback.
- Track & Adjust – We’ll monitor your progress and adjust protocols as your brain adapts.
